Sepia Saturday~ Peter Imlah and Mary Wilson

 Peter Imlah and Mary Wilson my 3rd Great Grandparents. Peter and Mary were married  on the 1st of October 1840 in Aberdeen Scotland, Peter was 29 and Mary 25. They raised 10 children and their Grand Daughter (my Great Grandmother Mary Bella). Peter made his living as a farmer until his death at the age of 71 in 1882, Mary died on the 12th of May 1900 at the age of 84.

I browsed through several of your posts - what interesting family history. The mourning photo of your 2nd great-grandfather and his two tiny girls is sad and beautiful at the same time.

I look at them, and then I look at the photo of you on the sidebar, and I can just imagine how they would have loved to know about your life - and how fascinating it would have been for them.

ah, to grow such a beard!!
i've been growing my goatee for a couple of years but keep on trimming it here and there. looks like i'll never have the patience to grow it to the desire lenght. man, that sounded just so girlish!!!...
