  5. Whata neat little picture story told so succinctly. A good-looking Dad too! Those cars with the wooden beams, as Alan points out, were around when I was growing up too, and I once heard the comedian Barry Humphries describe them as ‘half-timbered cars’ .This was a style of building around in England in the Middle Ages!
